Mapping Bodies
1-7.12.2025
Terra Rosa Art Week welcomes Mapping Bodies, an immersive art experience led by photographer and visual artist Omer Ga’ash. Participants explore the human body and form through photography, sculpture, painting, and movement, engaging in embodied creativity, artistic expression, and a deep connection with the land.
Monday, 1st December
Welcome to Terra Rosa
Day 1 opens the doors with arrivals throughout the day, easing into a Welcome Circle, icebreakers, and a communal dinner to ground everyone into the space, the body, and the forming community.
Tuesday, 2nd
Seeing & Being Seen
Day 2 is about Seeing & Being Seen, building the courage to be witnessed, starting with morning life drawing sessions and a photography introduction exploring the body as landscape, followed by lunch, an afternoon of photography style development through abstraction, layering, and distortion, then dinner and an evening of projected viewing and discussion.

Wednesday, 3rd
Body as Material
Day 3 turns the body into material—pigment, sweat, and self—beginning with outdoor group photography practice, then lunch, and an afternoon of body paint applied onto large canvases that will later be photographed, using consent, humor, and play as creative tools, ending again with dinner and evening projection and dialogue.
Friday, 5th
Final Reflection
Day 5 is for Final Reflection: packing artwork, sharing group feedback, and a closing ritual circle.
Thursday, 4th
Connection & Performance
Day 4 shifts toward Connection & Performance, painting and patterning the body in the morning, using movement as mark-making, followed by lunch and an afternoon of setting up the closing exhibition—an invitation to vulnerability as celebration—before dinner and the evening exhibition itself, applause, and queer joy hanging in the air.
Saturday Sunday, 6-7th
Community Weekend
Days 6 and 7 open into a community weekend where guests are invited to stay, cook, dance, hike, rest, meet new friends, enjoy nature, and feel the living magic of Terra Rosa.
